About
National Student Employment Week (NSEW) is celebrated each year across the country in order to recognize and appreciate the invaluable service of both student employees and student employment professionals.
The National Student Employment Association (NSEA) has declared that the week of April 13 - 17, 2026 will serve to celebrate those students who work with enthusiasm, dedication, and initiative to support their campus with a spectacular workforce.
The purpose of this week is threefold:
- To enhance awareness of student employment and its important role in higher education experience.
- To recognize students who perform outstanding work while attending college.
- To thank employers, who hire students for part-time positions and make the student employment program such a success.

NSEW 2026 Events
Harvard welcomes individuals with disabilities to participate in its programs and activities. Requests for American Sign Language interpreters and/or CART providers should be made at least two weeks in advance, if possible. Student Employee Appreciation Event
Whether you work on or off campus, all student employees are welcome to attend the Student Employee Appreciation! Meet us at the Science Center Arcade where you can pick up some SEO swag and learn more about upcoming National Student Employment Week events!

Trivia Night
Think you know Harvard? Know some random fun facts? Come test your skills at Trivia Night for student employees. With prizes, food and fun times ahead, this will be a great time for all!

April Job Fair
The Student Employment Office is hosting our first ever April Job Fair! This Job Fair is open to all Harvard students and will feature employers hiring for the Summer and Academic Year (Fall and Spring). This is a great way to connect with both on and off-campus employers and start thinking ahead!
