How many hours can I work per week?

  • Undergraduates may work up to a total of 20 hours per week during the academic school year.
  • Graduate students may work up to 40 hours per week  *International students are subject to visa restrictions.
  • All students may work up to 40 hours per week during official University breaks (Spring Break, Winter Recess, Summer). There is no compensation for lunch or break times, vacation days, or holidays. *International students who are subject to visa restrictions: please contact the HIO with questions.
